Argument escalates to double-stabbing in River North, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Two teenagers were hospitalized after a fight in River North early Sunday morning, Chicago police said.

Officials said a 19-year-old and a 15-year-old got into an argument with another group of males near State Street and the Chicago River.

It was about twenty minutes after midnight, and the argument became physical.

Police said someone stabbed the older teen in the back and the younger teen in the body.

Paramedics took them to the hospital in fair condition. No one is in custody.
