CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - An Uptown man who allegedly assaulted a 7-11 employee was detained by a Jiu-Jitsu instructor who live-streamed the whole thing.
Idriz Redzovic said he witnessed Christopher Cruz harassing two girls and then punching a 7-Eleven employee, and said he had to step in. He set up his phone and live-streamed himself and Cruz on the floor.
Cruz's arms were tied up like a pretzel and Redzovic sat on them. You hear Redzovic telling Cruz that reeks of alcohol and saying he's not letting him go until police come.The video was first posted on CWB Chicago.
Police arrived after 15 minutes and took Cruz into custody.
