Former President Bill Clinton released from the hospital to continue treatment at home

After being admitted to the hospital for a non-COVID-related infection, Former President Bill Clinton is being discharged after receiving treatment, his spokesman shared Sunday morning.

Clinton, 75, was checked into the UC Irvine Medical Center in California on Tuesday. An aide to Clinton shared that he had a urological infection that spread into his bloodstream, resulting in the hospital stay, the Associated Press reported.

Clinton was met by his wife and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the hospital on Saturday.

President Joe Biden shared during his remarks at the University of Connecticut that he had spoken with Clinton.
