Rome Odunze (foot) is still sidelined from Bears practice, while Luther Burden III returns as a limited participant

(670 The Score) Bears receiver Rome Odunze remains sidelined from practice due to a stress fracture in his foot. He didn't practice Wednesday.

Odunze is still recovering from his injury as two games remain in the regular season, but Bears head coach Ben Johnson has indicated it isn't a season-ending issue.

"He’s going to be able to help us this year," Johnson said recently of Odunze's status.

In other injury news, rookie receiver Luther Burden III returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant after missing the Bears' win against the Packers last Saturday due to an ankle injury. Veteran safety Kevin Byard (ankle), center Drew Dalman (ankle/hand), cornerback Nahshon Wright (hamstring), nickelback C.J. Gardner-Johnson (knee), running back Travis Homer (ankle), guard Luke Newman (foot) and linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (hamstring) were also limited participants.

Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards (glute), linebacker D'Marco Jackson (illness), cornerback Nick McCloud (illness) and receiver Devin Duvernay (illness) didn't practice Wednesday.

The Bears won't practice Thursday on Christmas Day. The team will return to work Friday at Halas Hall.

The Bears (11-4) will visit the 49ers (11-4) on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
