Landon's Mom Jess writes "Andolina decided that today was our last day of chemo and we get to skip the last cycle!!!! 48 weeks, 30 days of radiation and 16 consistent cycles of chemo (no breaks) and this mama is so thankful but it’s bitter sweet. Landon has been having a rough time this cycle and we think he’s experiencing bone pain, a side effect of chemo. So as much as I’m thankful for it I didn’t get a true goodbye with our nurses. I couldn’t bring them gifts and cry happy tears with them but I’m so incredibly thankful for all of them!!! It’s been 96 weeks of active chemo since the beginning and as much as I’m comfortable with it now I need a break, Lena needs a break, we ALL need a break!!! So scans every three months and we pray it continues to stay away!!!"
