Check out these unforgettable Instagram moments from Tenille before catching her set at Stars and Strings at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City.
That one time she made Country music history
Tenille’s single, “Somebody Like That,” made history after being on the Country music charts for 52 weeks. Written by Arts, alongside Allison Veltz Cruz and Alex Kline (who also served as the producer), the single marked the first time in Country music history that a #1 song had been performed, produced and written by females.
That one time she waxed her BF’s nose hair
True love knows no boundaries. After seeing videos on TikTok, Tenille’s boyfriend, Tyler, convinced her to wax his nose hair, all for the sake of looking good on the ACM red carpet. Tenille reluctantly agreed and lucky for us, got the entire event on film.
That one time she heard her song on the radio
It’s been a long journey to a career in music for Arts, who first picked up a guitar at the age of 13 in her hometown of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The now 27-year-old has worked hard to earn her spot on Country radio, which makes hearing her song on the airwaves in Music City and extra special moment.
That one time she bedazzled her guitar
With the last name Arts, it’s only fitting Tenille is creative in so many ways. In addition to her music and songwriting abilities, she is also crafty as can be. We love this moment during quarantine when Tenille rhinestoned a guitar to give away to one lucky fan… wish it was us!
That one time she recreated a childhood photo
Who does’t love good then vs. now post? There’s no doubt Tenille has come a long way, literally and figuratively, from her upbringing in Canada. Tenille showed fans just how far with this adorable Christmas throwback photo that she recreated — gingerbread cookie in hand and all!
