The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Dutton Walker Lane, on June 8 in Nashville.
“Words can’t describe the love i feel inside my heart for this little man!” Chris captioned a video posted to Instagram. “Thanks for all the prayers. I will never understand how @laurenlane birthed a 9 pound baby! DUTTON WALKER LANE welcome to the world.”
Lauren also took to Instagram to share the news, posting a pair of photos of the couple loving on the new addition to their family.
“Dutton Walker Lane. Born June 8th, 2021. Your dad and I can’t get enough of all 9 pounds of you. Now back to baby cuddles and praising Jesus over and over again for this little miracle!!”
Lauren, who is well-known for receiving the final rose on season 20 of ABC’s The Bachelor, wed Chris in October 2019 after he proposed with a song he wrote for the occasion titled “Big, Big Plans.”
The song went on to earn Chris his third #1 single on the Country chart and the music video melted hearts everywhere with raw footage from the moment Chris proposed.
The couple revealed they were expecting their first child in December 2020 after struggling to get pregnant.
Lauren shared the news on social media writing, “A dream. Except I’m not dreaming. I’m wide awake. Holding your dads hand, watching you dance around in my belly. Listening to your little heart beat. My new favorite sound. A miracle. New life. Our sweet baby. Thank you Jesus! All the glory belongs to You.”
