Eminem is getting ready to take his first dip into the NFT game, and it's all going down this Sunday, April 25 during "Shady-Con" a digital festival that has been "modeled after the traditional 'Con' gatherings where fans come together and trade their wares."

This is the perfect opportunity for fans to get their hands on exclusive Slim Shady items like action figures featuring the Detroit rapper in his classic outfits, plus one-of-a-kind beats the rapper has produced just for this NFT release.

Announcing this weekend's festivities, starting at 6:30PM ET on Nifty Gateway, Eminem's website says although "you may not be able to get together with thousands of Stans in a poorly ventilated convention center somewhere on the outskirts of 8 Mile Rd.... this weekend you can rub elbows with each other on Nifty Gateway and own a piece of the collectible, non-fungible action!"

"I’ve been collecting since I was a kid, everything from comic books to baseball cards to toys, as well as every rap album on cassette I could get my hands on,” Eminem says. “Not much has changed for me as an adult… I’ve attempted to re-create some of those collections from that time in my life, and I know I’m not alone. I wanted to give this drop the same vibe of, ‘Oh, man I gotta get just that one or maybe even the whole set!’ It’s been a lot of fun coming up with ideas from my own collecting passion.”

NFT's have become all the rage as of late, from WWE wrestlers offering $100,000 packages to artists like Grimes and The Weeknd raking in big cash on exclusive artwork and fan experiences.

The very nature of NFTs, which are said to appreciate in value over the years, allow winners the option to transfer ownership and sellers the option to funnel proceeds to charities of their choice.
