“I'd been practicing for a long time for my first hang with Snoop Dogg,” the singer shared. “I did just fine.”
“I was just like, can I show you the most recent thing I wrote. And he's like, ‘yeah,’ so I showed him this song called ‘Gettin' Gone.’”
“I'm in the studio finalizing it and I sent him a video with that song behind it, and he was like, ‘I need that record’ and I was like, ‘well, I'm doing a whole thing with this thing. I'm gonna launch a whole project with this song.’ I was like, ‘but do you wanna do a verse?’ And his response was like ‘blue heart, blue heart, blue heart, paw print, paw print, paw print, fire, fire [emoji],’ and I was like, I take that as a yes.”
