Fans are back in the ballpark and we have already seen a fair share of unfortunate moments when it comes to chasing home run balls.
The latest came on Thursday in Cincinnati, when Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez sent a towering shot into the left field seats.
One luck fan appeared to be in position to make the catch, but with his nachos in one hand he couldn’t haul it in with his other and began bobbling the ball until it fell a few rows in front of him.
Desperate to hang onto the ball, the fan tried jumping over the row of seats in front of him to save it only to wipe out and have his nachos fly out of his hand, leaving the fan without a home run ball or nachos.
A young fan was able to come away with the ball instead, but the fan with the nachos appeared to be with his young son and had to have a moment with him after coming up empty-handed.
These are just some of the tough life lessons that you sometimes experience at the ballpark.
