Ronald Acuña makes ridiculous 'beer pong' shot from right field

Playing beer pong with baseballs is typically an ill-advised idea if you don't want to make a huge mess... unless, of course, you're a star outfielder in the middle of a game looking to hone your accuracy.

That was the case for Braves phenom Ronald Acuña Jr. If it's not enough that he has shown that he can hit for power, outrun everyone, flash his leather, and literally everything else you could ask for, maybe a video of him knocking down a clutch cup in an impromptu game of pong will be enough to impress you.

Sure, he had some assistance from the fan, but the cup really didn't need all that much movement for the ball to make a satisfying plunk. It's not exactly a close shot, either. Had Acuña called "island" — and there's no proof that he didn't make that call — the fan would have had to go get another beer and down it, but that's only if they were playing by the real rules.

I'd have to think that athletes have a natural inclination for beer pong, though it remains to be seen if Acuña can bring it on the real table as opposed to "only" from the outfield to the bleachers. How would he stack up against, say, a group of NBA players fresh off an NBA title, such as the 2016 Cavaliers?

I have to admit, I feel pretty confident in my pong abilities. I'd only get really worried for a few people, namely NBA legends. Good thing Michael Jordan doesn't play pong, or else the intensity of the situation would probably be too much for me and my unimpressive tolerance to handle.

Oh, wait...
