Selena Gomez is shaking things up with a Spring makeover. The 28-year-old singer/actress debuted her new look just a few days ago.

Gomez took to her makeup line, Rare Beauty’s, Instagram account to show off her new head full of platinum locks. “New look,” she posted along with a selfie. “Need to pick new Rare Beauty lip and blush shades now.”
The switch was performed by Gomez’s longtime stylists at Nine Zero One, Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri who are co-owners of the establishment. Both Nikki and Riawna shared Selena’s selfie to their personal accounts explaining how things “went down.”
“The entire process took 200 foils, several bowls of bleach, and eight hours of hair magic,” they posted along with the details of the entire process. “Definitely worth it! Her hair looks and feels amazing!”
The new hair color came as a shock to many, but is seeing lots of positive feedback from fans and style-gurus.
This is not the first time the well-known brunette has gone blonde. She made the switch in 2017, but it was short-lived. We’ll just have to wait and see if this transformation stands the test of time.

Selena recently revealed her HBO Max cooking series Selena + Chef will return for a third season. New episodes featuring Selena and a celebrity guest are expected later this year as she continues on her journey to become a better chef, a goal she set during quarantine.
Each episode of the series will spotlight a different charity. So far $360,000 has been raised for 23 various nonprofit organizations.
