Arts spent most of her time in quarantine with boyfriend, Tyler Corrado, who she’s been dating for two years. The couple grew closer… like really close after spending so much time together amid the pandemic (we’re talking like waxing each other’s nose hairs close).

"It's so funny because everyone thinks we are married, but we are not," Tenille told PEOPLE. "We are kind of two peas in a pod. We do everything together.”

Hitting the road with Lady A is proving to be a bitter sweet venture for the 27-year-old singer-songwriter, but one she is really looking forward to.

“Going back on the road later this year is going to be a little bit of a shock for us [she and Tyler] I bet, because we are so used to always being together."

While in quarantine the couple celebrated Tenille’s first #1 single,“Somebody Like That,” which marked the first time in Country music history that a #1 song had been performed, produced and written by females.

The single was written by Arts alongside Allison Veltz Cruz and Alex Kline, who also served as the producer.

There’s a lot more to come from Arts, who just released her next single, "Back Then, Right Now," and is currently working on a new album.

"This album has me looking back, doing a lot of songs I wish I had when I was a teenager," she shared. "It touches on a lot of life topics that I don't think are touched on enough in country music. I'm just feeling very comfortable and open and vulnerable right now. This is some of my most favorite music I have ever made."
