Tristan Thompson is officially now going to be a father to three children.
Thompson, 30, shared that paternity results confirm that he is the father of a baby boy, TMZ reports.

In an Instagram story, the NBA star revealed the news that he fathered the baby boy with Maralee Nicholas, a fitness trainer. However, things took a turn as he offered a sincere apology to his former girlfriend, and mother of his child, Khloé Kardashian.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” Thompson wrote. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He added, “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both privately and publicly.”
In the second slide, the 30-year-old revealed how his relationship with Nichols hurt Kardashian, whom he was still dating when the baby was conceived, as People reported.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
The athlete explained how his actions “certainly have not lined up” with his view of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star.
“I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think,” Thompson noted. “Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
Thompson’s apology comes after court documents confirmed that the NBA star would soon be a father to a baby boy in December.
Those documents revealed that Nichols sued Thompson for child support and other pregnancy-related payments. According to the papers, Thompson allegedly admitted that he did have sex with the personal trainer.
Thompson has a daughter, True, 3, whom he shares with Kardashian. He also has a son Prince, 4, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
