Being in the Country music world for more than 20 years now, there’s not much that throws Preston and Chris of LOCASH off when it comes to fan interaction. However, one veteran at a show in Augusta, GA found a way to drop their jaws when she detached her prosthetic leg and put it on stage.

“We were in Augusta, GA one night playing this place called the Country Club,” Preston recalled. “I look down and there’s something moving around down there [on the stage] during the show… I looked down… it’s a girl and she has a prosthetic leg and she had taken the leg off. That’s not a joke.”
Thinking she wanted it autographed, Chris started to look for a Sharpie until things took a wild and unexpected turn.
“All of a sudden, she’s like, right there and she’s got her leg and she’s holdin’ it up to me. I thought that [she wanted it autographed], so I reached down and grabbed the leg and I’m like, kind of looking for a Sharpie to get some signatures on this thing… it was shaped like a cup on the top and the crowd was like, ‘chug it, chug it,’ so I’m like, ‘Alright get me a beer!’”

Preston proceeded to pour beer into the prosthetic and chug it, resulting in a moment he’ll never forget.
“I take a beer and I hold it… I pour the beer in and I chugged it right out of the leg — had a little sweat in there,” he laughed. “She was amazing, she was actually a Vet too, and she came backstage with us and hung out the rest of the night, it was so cool!”
