After 19 seasons, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is coming to a close, and one of the host’s famous friends has gotten emotional over the show ending.

Jennifer Aniston filmed an upcoming episode of the talk show and teared up as she walked out onto the stage. After greeting DeGeneres, who met her with a hug and a tissue, Aniston seemed surprised at her own reaction.
“What the hell! This is not supposed to be emotional,” she proclaimed in a sneak peek of the interview. “Not yet!” responded DeGeneres, prompting Aniston to admit that she hasn't “been out in a long time.”
The “Friends” star continued, sharing with DeGeneres that it had been “like maybe two years. I’m almost not kidding, the last time I was in a soundstage doing a talk show was here hosting your show.”
“I know you don’t go out much, so thank you for being here, you’re very careful,” said DeGeneres.

Aniston has been outspoken about her level of precaution when it comes to COVID-19. In the September issue of InStyle, the actress shared that she cut several people out of her life after they refused to be vaccinated against the virus.
“There's still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don't listen to the facts. It's a real shame,” she said before noting that she “lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate.”
Aniston continued, sharing that she believes it is “your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we're not all podded up and being tested every single day. It's tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don't feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.”
