Over the weekend, Carrie headlined Stagecoach, California’s Country music festival. The anticipation for Carrie’s performance was high as she’s been a highlight of three of the past festivals. With this being her fourth, and having to wait out the pandemic for it to happen, Underwood admitted it was going to be extra special for her.

“I’m the kind of person like if I’ve done something and I want to do that again, I want to make it different,” she shared. “I want to do different things and make it interesting for people that saw all the other, previous three shows that we did. I don’t want to do the same show.”

Carrie did just that as she delivered a one-of-a-kind performance welcoming Guns NRoses Axl Rose on stage to join her for two Rock covers.

“Welcome to the greatest night of my life,” Underwood screamed to the crowd. "Give it up for Axl Rose!" Fans erupted as Carrie and Axl sang "Sweet Child O' Mine" together followed by "Paradise City."

Carrie also took time to honor the late Naomi Judd during her set as she sang, “See You Again.” Carrie took the stage just hours after the news of Naomi Judd’s passing surfaced and she was quick to honor the legend.

"This next song goes out to everybody who's ever lost someone that they loved, which is everybody,” she said. “But just because the people that we love are not here with us,” she said gesturing to her side, “does not mean that they are not here with us,” she said placing her hand over her heart. “And does not mean that you will not see them again someday."
