Man arrested in Friday stabbing

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) An arrest has been made in Friday's deadly stabbling.

26-year-old Talyn D. Williams of Buffalo was arraigned Saturday before Buffalo City Court Judge Andrew C. LoTempio on one count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class "A-1" felony, and one count of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, a Class "A" misdemeanor.


Prosecutors say Williams choked a female victim inside of a home on the 300 block of Doat Street in the City of Buffalo. After the altercation with the first victim, Williams is accused of stabbing another female victim outside of the home. The second victim, 28-year-old Allison Turner, died from her injuries at ECMC.

Williams is scheduled to return on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. He was remanded without bail.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of the first victim.

If convicted on all charges, Williams faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
