Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - A day after the Buffalo Bills trimmed its initial roster to 53 players for the upcoming 2024 season, the team has formalized its practice squad made up of 16 players.
Here is who will make up the Bills' practice squad heading into the opening week of the NFL season:
- QB - Mike White
- RB - Frank Gore Jr.
- WR - Tyrell Shavers
- WR - K.J. Hamer
- WR - Deon Cain
- TE - Zach Davidson
- OL - Richard Gouraige
- OL - Will Clapp
- OL - Mike Edwards
- DE - Kingsley Jonathan
- DE - Kameron Cline
- DT - Eli Ankou
- DT - Branson Deen
- CB - Daequan Hardy
- CB - Te’Cory Couch
- S - Kareem Jackson
A total of 15 of the 16 players signed to the Bills' practice squad were with the Bills at some point during training camp or the preseason.
The only player joining the Bills on the practice squad after Tuesday's round of roster cuts is quarterback Mike White, who signs with Buffalo after recently being released by the Miami Dolphins.
The Bills will kick the 2024 season off on Sunday, Sept. 8 against the Arizona Cardinals at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
