They say that those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. That's exactly what's happening when it comes to remembering what happened to millions of Jewish people during World War II.
A new study from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany finds almost two thirds of people under the age of 40 have no idea about the Holocaust.
Mary Pat Higgins is the CEO of the Dallas Holocaust Museum.
She says 63% of Texans surveyed didn't know that the Nazis killed 6 million Jews in World War II.
64% of Texans have seen Nazi symbols in their community in the last 5 years.
58% of Texans say they've seen Holocaust denial through social media and there are hate groups out there denying the Holocaust or they're saying the Jewish people were responsible for the Holocaust. Or they claim it's a conspiracy.
And she says people just aren't prepared on how to deal with that hatred, because they don't know what happened originally.
