NEW YORK (WBEN) — Hours after Gov. Kathy Hochul officially named State Sen. Brian Benajmin as her lieutenant governor, the state's first female governor celebrated "Women's Equality Day" Thursday by ringing the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange.
Hochul was joined by Rep. Carolyn Maloney, NYSE President Stacey Cunningham, State Sen. Rodneyse Bichotte and other women in the celebration.
