At Least 1 Person Injured After School Bus Collides With 2 Vehicles In NJ

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (WCBS 880) — A school bus was involved in a serious collision with two other vehicles on a New Jersey road Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the incident happened around 3 p.m. on Washington Valley Road, near Blossom Drive.

Officials say no children were on board the bus when it collided with a dark-colored SUV and white sedan.

Video from the scene shows the bus appeared to T-bone the SUV, which was severely damaged.

Authorities say at least one person was injured and transported by helicopter to Morristown Medical Center. That person’s condition remains unknown.

According to reports, three others were also taken to a nearby hospital. It’s unknown what their injuries were, if any.

The investigation remains ongoing. There was no word on any arrests.
