5 sought after man shot in leg in the Bronx: police


NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 25-year-old man was shot in the Bronx, police said Tuesday as they released video of five suspects.

According to police, the group approached the victim on Jan. 17 around 6:23 p.m., and one of them opened fire, striking the victim once in the leg.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition. The individuals then fled toward 1140 Burke Ave.

It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the encounter.
