NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released a photo of a suspect they are looking to identify wanted for stealing tens of thousands of dollars in an armed robbery in Queens last week, authorities said.

It happened at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday, September 15 in front of 48-16 Skillman Ave. in Long Island City, cops said.

According to officials, the suspect approached a 47-year-old man and proceeded to discharge a firearm at the ground.

The suspect then took $60,000 dollars from the victim before fleeing with another unidentified individual northbound on 49th Street on a black two-wheeled motorized scooter, the NYPD said.

There were no injuries reported in this incident.
