Girl, 6, punched in chest, robbed of $30 scooter in Brooklyn; 3 teens sought


NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for three teens after a 6-year-old girl was punched in the chest during a robbery on a Brooklyn street last week, authorities said.

The girl was on her Razor scooter while at the intersection of Throop Avenue and Bartlett Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant when she was approached by the three suspects just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, officials said.

One suspect punched her with a closed fist in her chest and the other two took removed her razor scooter before they all fled southbound on Throop Avenue to parts unknown, cops said.

The victim was treated by EMS at the scene.

The value of the scooter is approximately $30, the NYPD said.

The suspects are described as three males, approximately 14 to 16 years of age with dark skin complexion.
