The robberies took place between 8:20 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. on the Upper West Side and Upper East Side. Police said the robbers got out of a gray Toyota Camry, pushed the victims to the ground and stole their purses.

A 50-year-old woman was targeted at 50 West End Ave. on the Upper West Side at 8:20 p.m. Police said the group stole her purse, which contained credit cards.

Ten minutes later on the Upper East Side, a 38-year-old woman was attacked near Third Avenue and E. 65th Street. Police said her bag, which contained a cell phone, was stolen.
