
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was arrested on Sunday in connection to a fatal shooting of a 64-year-old man in Brooklyn last week, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call on Friday, Nov. 17, about a shooting at 445 Pulaski St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 9:30 p.m.
They found a man with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the ground.
The victim, Timothy Jones, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and was pronounced dead.
The motive behind the shooting was not immediately clear.
Following an investigation, police arrested the suspect, Lashawn Craig, 45.
Craig, now facing charges of criminal possession of a weapon, was taken into custody at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The investigation is still ongoing.
