Argument ends in shooting aboard MTA bus in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man was shot and wounded on an MTA bus in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, police said as they search for his attacker.

Gunfire erupted as two men argued on a B44 bus around 10:20 p.m. at the corner of Empire Boulevard and Rogers Avenue in Crown Heights.

The shooter pulled a gun and shot the 25-year-old victim in the buttocks, police said.

The victim was taken to King County Hospital, where he was treated.

No other injuries were reported.

The shooter was last seen fleeing the bus with a woman, police said.

The NYPD didn’t immediately have a description or surveillance images of the couple as the search for them continued Wednesday.
