NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Cops are searching for a real-life Hamburglar.
NYPD released surveillance footage of a man who allegedly swiped credit cards from employees at a Manhattan McDonald’s — and then used the cards to buy food at the restaurant.
The man walked into the basement of the Sixth Avenue McDonald’s, near Union Square, around 10:55 a.m., and proceeded to remove “multiple wallets” containing the credit cards from an employee break room, police said.
He then used the stolen cards to buy food from the location.
The surveillance footage shows the man with food wearing an “I love New York” t-shirt.
