Mayor outlines NYC plan to rollout COVID-19 booster shots: 'We need to be ready'

NEW YORK – New York City is mobilizing to offer COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to residents if they’re approved by the federal government in the coming days.

Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled the “NYC Booster Shot Plan” at his daily briefing Thursday.

“The federal government is considering authorizing boosters on a large scale, and we need to be ready to move on that immediately,” the mayor said.
