Off-duty NYPD officer charged with DWI after ramming car into empty vehicles: source

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly drove under the influence and rammed into unoccupied cars on a Brooklyn avenue, a source told 1010 WINS.

According to police, Quils Quiles, 28, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired and refusal to take a breath test.

The source said the officer hit a number of vehicles while on Atlantic Avenue.

Police had no other details.
