NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- An 18-year-old woman walking down a Bronx street was groped and slapped in the face by a man Thursday, police said.

The woman was walking on the Grand Concourse, near E. 188th Street, in Fordham Heights around 8:15 a.m. when the stranger came up and grabbed her buttocks over her clothing.
The man then slapped her across the face, police said.

The suspect was last seen fleeing into the nearby Fordham Road subway station.
The victim did not require medical attention at the scene, police said.
