NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage on Monday of a woman wanted for an unprovoked assault on a senior that occurred on a Manhattan street last week, authorities said.
It happened at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 10, when an 88-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 10th Avenue and West 26th Street in Chelsea.
According to officials, the suspect struck the victim on the head with an unknown blunt object and fled northbound on 10th Avenue.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
