Boomer says Jets need to be on Hard Knocks this year: 'This is gonna be nuts!'

Boomer believes the Jets will wind up with both Aaron Rodgers and Odell Beckham Jr., in what would be the splashiest of offseasons for a team that hopes to compete next season.

With that in mind, Boomer says there better be a camera crew following that team around this summer.

“They need to be on Hard Knocks,” Boomer said, referencing the hit HBO show, which follows a new team around each season. “They got Darrelle Revis and Joe Klecko going to the Hall of Fame. They’re playing in the Hall of Fame Game. They’re gonna have Aaron Rodgers as the quarterback, I believe they’re gonna have Odell Beckham Jr. here as well. This is gonna be nuts! Hey HBO, wake up. This makes a ton of sense.

“If Aaron Rodgers comes here with OBJ and the Hall of Fame Game and Darrelle Revis and Joe Klecko?”

Plenty of fans would be interested in getting a behind-the-scenes look at Gang Green if it added two personalities like Rodgers and Beckham, one returning to the New York spotlight and the other arriving after a Hall of Fame career with the Packers. If the Jets indeed add both players, it would likely be a network’s dream to gain access to such a locker room.
