    Justin Udo

    Justin Udo is a reporter and editor at KYW Newsradio.

    He got his start in radio as an intern at his hometown station, KDKA in Pittsburgh. He first came on board KYW Newsradio in 2009, working as a desk assistant, news production assistant, and reporter for HearPHILLY. In 2011, Justin took a position at Federal News Radio, in Washington, DC, where he worked as a producer for “In Depth” with Francis Rose. He covered the business of federal government, handling topics ranging from federal contracts to cyber-security issues.

    In 2012, joined WNEW-FM in Washington, DC as an editor. He also helped start the Federal News service gov.biz radio, where he worked as a reporter, editor, and midday anchor. Justin is from Pittsburgh, PA.

    He is a 2007 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a 2008 graduate of Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Communications, where he concentrated in broadcast journalism. Justin is also an author of children’s books. In his spare time he enjoys running, watching cartoons, writing haiku, and designing his own comic strips.
