Becky Alery, who is in charge of day to day operations of the Minnesota GOP is stepping down just five weeks from the Election.
"Alery, a political veteran was highly respected within the media and amongst GOP leaders across the state," according to News Talk 830 WCCO political analyst Blois Olson.
There are been no reasons given for Alery's departure. However, party insiders say that tension had been growing with party chairwoman, Jennifer Carnahan and Alery. So far, nobody is talking about why Alery is leaving.
