Hey! So here’s a little about me--I am a native 315-er from the thriving metropolis, Auburn NY—yea where the prison is! I knew I wanted to be in radio since I was 11 years old. Went to Cayuga Community College in Auburn and University at Buffalo for Radio/TV and Communication. I am lucky and thankful to have been living my dream to be on the radio for over 40 years, which is amazing, since I’m only 25 (in my mind anyway!) Over the years I have worked at radio stations in Auburn, Geneva, Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester, where I have lived since 1995. I am thrilled to be back to my original Rochester radio home! Over my radio career, I have done just about everything but sales! That includes jocking, news & public affairs director and assistant programming and music director. I love music! Some fave bands: Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Doors, AC/DC, Metallica, Nirvana, Genesis, Steely Dan. I’m also addicted to TV (my 14 year old self LOVES that I have access to every TV channel and streaming service around) I love reality shows, true crime/murder shows and anything paranormal. I love cars and love to travel. My favorite season is Fall. I love sports, especially football (Go Bills!!) and hockey (Go Sabres)
I live in Henrietta with my husband (married 27 years to the same guy) We have a 20 something daughter and son and 6 rescue kitties. I love spending time with my family and I love animals!
I am an avid runner, Spin Power instructor at Scotland YMCA and love HIIT workouts. I’m actively involved with our community including being on the media advisory board for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, Rochester Area Triathletes and Honorary Chair for Gilda’s Gang Running Marathon training group. I also emcee and run a number of fundraising 5K’s throughout the year and can’t wait for live racing to resume.
I’m a foodie and a boozie--I love my wine fresh from the winery, beer straight from the microbrew and my spirits directly from the distillery. Food: I’ll eat anything, especially If I don’t have to cook it!
