Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - With the NFL announcing the 2022 regular season schedule on Thursday, it marked the first official edition of the tradition unlike any other...
"Howard Picks the Bills" is back for the 2022 season, and Howard Simon starts the year off on a hot streak!
The Buffalo Bills have some notable games this upcoming season, including six prime-time games on the schedule. It all starts with the opening night of the NFL season when the Bills travel to Los Angeles to take on the Super Bowl champion Rams at SoFi Stadium. Then the following week, the Bills open up the home portion of the schedule with a "Monday Night Football" showdown with the Tennessee Titans at Highmark Stadium.
Buffalo will also play under the bright lights for a Sunday night matchup with the Green Bay Packers in Orchard Park, a Thursday night meeting with the New England Patriots in Foxboro, and another Monday night contest in Cincinnati against the AFC champion Bengals.
In addition, the Bills will be featured, yet again, on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, when they match up with the Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. EST. It marks the third time in four years that Buffalo has played on the national holiday.
The expectations are high of the Bills this upcoming year, and Howard is riding high on the Bills to make some noise right off the bat.
Of the prime-time games the Bills are featured in this season, Howard has the Bills beating the Rams, Titans, Lions and Patriots, but losing to the Packers and the Bengals in the national spotlight.
Despite two losses in prime-time, Howard only has one more loss picked on the schedule, as he also picked the Bills to sweep the AFC East, while also taking down the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of last season's AFC Divisional Round matchup.
In the end, it results in a 14-3 record for the Bills and a great chance to finish atop the AFC in the regular season!
