The Washington state gambling commission issued a cease-and-desist notice after investigating the charitable games for two years. The reason for this notice? Because Blair did not follow one obscure rule: anyone calling out the bingo numbers must be an employee of the business that holds the gambling license.
Because Blair isn't an employee of all the senior centers he has helped, the state police are after him and says that he has been committing a felony. Although the charities say that they weren't being exploited and that residents benefitted from the money, the senior centers have still been threatened with felony charges and have to pay a fine.
