In a new Rolling Stone interview, Normani was asked about Camila Cabello's past racist social media posts and said that she needed time to think about what she wanted to say so that she says exactly what she means, but she did not want this to be a part of her narrative. She also added that she was hurt by the scenario and, "It was devastating that this came from a place that was supposed to be a safe haven and a sisterhood, because I knew that if the tables were turned I would defend each of them in a single heartbeat."
Although Disney's Onward doesnt come out in the theaters until next month, reports say that the movie is making history and will feature it's first ever openly, self-identified LGBTQ+ character in the Pixar universe. Lena Waithe voices the main character, named Officer Specter and is a lesbian, cyclops police officer.
