Taylor Hickson from Freeform's "Motherland: Fort Salem" joins Shira and Ryan to discuss her role in the new show and how she is coping with the outbreak.
The show follows three young women from basic training in combat magic into early deployment in a women-dominated world in which the U.S. ended persecution of witches 300 years ago after an agreement. Fun Fact: the show is produced by Will Ferrell!
The show was originally suppose to premiere at South by Southwest, but due to the coronavirus that did not happen and will instead premiere on television. She discusses how she is playing a character a part of the LGBTQ community and the pressure she felt to potray her character with the utmost respect.
She says that she is very much an extrovert but she is enjoying spending time with her immediate family and baking her favorite treats!
