The Supreme Court allowed President Donald Trump's transgender military ban to go into effect, dealing a blow to LGBT activists who call the ban cruel and irrational. Joining us on Let's Go There, veteran Laila Ireland, Membership Director, SPARTA TransMilitary Advocate who discussed her experience as a member of the community in the military. Also on the show, attorney Shannon Minter, Legal Director at National Center for Lesbian Rights. The NCLR was co-counsel with GLAAD in D.C. & CA to challenge to the military ban. Minter gives insights on the repercussions of this ban on the LGBTQ community and what's next.
