UBER & LYFT employees are going on strike and we are supporting them.
Today, May 8th if you can support these drivers by using an alternative way to get to where you need to, do it.
They are protesting to win job security for app drivers by ending unfair deactivations, as well as secure a livable income by ending the scam of upfront pricing where passengers pay more but drivers earn less.
They are also protesting to regulate the fare that Uber and Lyft charge passengers, cap the companies commission, and to guarantee 80-85% of the fare to the driver.
We believe people who work for multibillion-dollar companies should not have to work 70 or 80 hours a week just to get by.
