Actress and singer, Laura Marano joins AJ Gibson and Mikalah Gordon on The Morning Beat just as she debuts her new single "When You Wake Up". Marano shares that she wrote the single three years ago, when she was struggling with her record label. She states that this new single is a vulnerable song for her, but the song also still evokes a "level of empowerment". Marano says, "There is a lot of power in vulnerability."
