Scheana Shay, OG cast member of Vanderpump Rules, is no longer the flirtatious waitress that you see in the Bravo series. After facing real-life challenges in her personal life, Shay tells AJ Gibson and Mikalah Gordon, of The Morning Beat that she no longer wants to be portrayed as the show's "desperate middle-aged waitress". The reality show star has faced adversity with fertility, and while filming the show Shay felt her challenges and triumphs wither motherhood were glazed over. She says, "I think that they just like to keep me in this one-dimensional box....it's almost like I'm playing a character. Nothing from my actual life is shown outside of it. I had so much going on last year, but it's just brushed over because we have eighteen other cast member's lives to cover."
