Todrick Hall Joins The Morning Beat to Discuss Why Millenials Aren't Taking the Coronavirus Seriously

American singer, songwriter, actor, director, choreographer and YouTuber, Todrick Hall, joined AJ and Mikalah to discuss why millenials aren't taking the coronavirus seriously.

He says he thinks that millenials ages 18-22 are out of touch because they grew up in a time where they didn't have to fight for much. He calls this "American privilege," and in general he says that people have just become more and more selfish and are treating this as a vacation so they can go out and party with their friends. But, everyone needs to do their part.

Todrick has been sharing the message: you living your life is costing someone else their life.

He also says that when going shopping for his groceries, he thinks about what he's actually going to eat and use so that he's not hoarding and taking away a product from someone else who actually needs it.

The Morning Beat also discussed with Hall how the coronavirus has affected Broadway. With shows being cancelled and no idea of when they will be rescheduled, a lot of Broadway performers are scared because they don't know how they will feed their families.

Todrick says that he knows a lot of fans are going to be looking to him and other content creators so right now he sais we should expect a list of his all time favorite movies and he wants other celebrities to do the same.

Todrick wants to encourage people to unplug, recharge, and relax. Take this time to work on your dreams and projects. He says that this can be a blessing to do self help and work on our mental health.

You can catch Todrick Hall touring in New Zealand and Australia January 10-16th.
