Alzheimer's is a devastating illness to not only those who suffer but for friends and family as well. However, in that darkness there can still be rays of positivity that come from this disease. Marta González, a former prima ballerina, heard the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and brought out choreography that was embedded in her body for years.
González, who passed in 2019 due to Alzheimer's, was a ballet dancer during the 1960s for the New York Ballet. The video of Gonzalez's remembrance recently resurfaced when celebrities like Jennifer Garner and Antonio Banderas shared the video on their social media accounts.
