South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem — a potential running mate for Donald Trump is facing widespread backlash after it was revealed she murdered her dog.
In an excerpt from her new book – she describes how on the way home from a hunting trip -- her dog Cricket escaped from her truck, killed some neighbors chickens and then bit the governor.
Noem said "I hated that dog…" so she led it to a gravel pit and shot her.
The MAGA mouthpiece also writes that her family owned a "nasty and mean" male goat that liked to chase her kids.
She decided to go ahead and kill the goat, too. Writing that the goat survived the first shot, so she went back to the truck, got another shell, then shot him again, this time killing him.
