The Impact of Harvey Milk's New Navy Ship

The Navy launched the USNS Harvey Milk , a replenishment oiler and the first of its ships to be named after an openly gay leader. Unfortunately, 70 years ago Milk had been forced to resign from the Navy because he was gay. Miriam Richter, the Director and Counsel at the Harvey Milk Foundation, joins us to talk about this historic moment and how the non-profit is continuing Milk's legacy around the world.
