In Atlanta, four males — including two teens and a juvenile — were arrested early Tuesday after allegedly tearing down and cutting up LGBTQ pride flags in Midtown's rainbow-painted intersection near Piedmont and 10th. Police say the group coordinated the act and drove in from northwest Georgia. They fled on scooters but were quickly caught. Charges include criminal damage and conspiracy, and hate crime enhancements are being considered. Two suspects remain at large. The vandalism happened as Pride Month ends nationwide. Atlanta's main celebration takes place in October.
